From concept to a production-ready brief
A useful manufacturing discussion starts before price. The project needs a product direction, target market, buyer channel, intended function and a clear list of specifications that are already known. Drawings, reference products, mood boards and target retail positioning can all help define the development route.
Open questions are identified early so sampling does not become a sequence of avoidable revisions.
What can be reviewed by project
Depending on the product, the review may cover overall dimensions, materials, upholstery or woven direction, finishes, pet openings, cushions, structural details, assembly, labeling and packaging. Destination-market testing or compliance requirements are treated as project inputs rather than assumed claims.
MOQ, sample timing and lead time are only confirmed after the specification and commercial scope are understood.
